Post subject: Airport card not being seen by 667 DVI Posted: Sat Jan 19, 2008 2:14 pm |

I've installed the card a couple of times and even restored the software but it refuses to see the card when you try and enable it in "System Prefs; networks". The hardware diag disc says the card is in and functioning. Any ideas? It's a second hand card but was said to be working.

In your OS, do you get an error that says "No Airport Hardware Found?" If you do not get that error, then it means your card is installed and working properly. It could possibly be a defective card, but Airport cards rarely go bad.

The airport set-up assistant says that the appropriate hardware was not found. I guess therefore that the card is defective?
