The brightness on my g4 500 flickers from dark to fine to anywhere in between. Various degrees of pressing down on the rim and applying pressure here and there and generally twiddling with things can fix it but only for a moment normally (sometimes it works fine for a while, before it will go again, wether its being used and knocked or not) Is this something to do with the Invertor Board, I'm thinking of replacing it just to see, can u guys ship to the UK?

It sounds like the inverter board or a pinched cable. We do ship to the UK.

There is no easy way to tell. I'd take the unit apart and see if there is any stress on the inverter cable going into the inverter board and also check to make sure all connections are tight. If that doesn't work I'd replace the inverter board.
