Battery Latch

The battery latch for the G4 (300) has two small 'hooks' that engage and hold the battery fast against the case and thus the supply connectors. One of these hooks broke off (the innermost) and now the battery will not stay seated causing loss of power any/most times the machine is moved if not plugged in.

Any good suggestions?

Are you talking about the actual latch you move to release the battery? The easiest way to repair that is to purchase a new rib frame. They are available from our online store.

Yes, the actual latch. It's not entirely clear from the picture of the rib frame that it contains the full latch mechanism. Is this the case?

Yes the rib frame includes the grey piece that you slide to release the battery. It is hard to tell from the picture.

I also need this grey latch. Your store says Out Of Stock. Any idea when they will be back in?

Any sign of the Rib Frames for the PB G4 800mhz yet Bradley?

Not yet. I've got an 867 in stock though. I'm pretty sure they are the same part, but can't verify that without having the 800 in front of me.
