i have a powerbook titanium and every time i want to burn a cd-r i can't......the blank disc appears to be spinning and the machine makes strange noises for a few seconds after that the disc is ejected......it only happens with cd-r(i noticed it)but not with dvd or cd-rw .....everything is fine but not with cd-r ...can somebbbooody helpppp me!!!thank you.

I'd try a different type of CD-R media. Usually that problem is due to incompatible media. Otherwise you've got a defective drive.
