Post subject: Top Case and Trim replacement - any other parts required? Posted: Tue Feb 08, 2005 11:09 pm |

I'm about to purchase the Titanium Trackpad Top Case and Trim to replace my cracked trim. I am also about to purchase the Take Apart Manual to guide me through the process.
My question: are there any other parts that may need to be replaced as a result of damage from replacing the top case/trim? For example, there may be rubber gaskets that may be glued to the top case that once I remove the logic board it will be destroyed. What about other internal parts that are glued.
Or am I home free with just the trackpad top case and take apart manual?
Thanks for any input.

That's all you need. You'll need to take other parts such as the port access door off of your old case.
