 Post subject: powerbook display just white...faulty display data cable?

Hello, my powerbook display is just a constant white. I am able to use an external monitor fine. I figure it is the display data cable that is the culprit but I just need to get some ideas.

The powerbook is 867 15"
Everything else is fine, it wasnt dropped or mistreated.

Usually this is an LCD problem, and not a display cable problem. You are better off replacing the entire display module.
