Help I purchased from this site a new G3 Ion battery and the VST dual battery charger. I there a secert or are the parts just bad? No manual with the charger to what the lights mean. Saw a simialar post but not much help.
According to the other post the amber and red mean dead battery. So how do you know if a new battery is dead or bad from the get go?

I know that this is an old post, but my understanding is that the VST charger may have problems charging aftermarket batteries.
Check with the guys here to confirm.
