Interchangable LCD Between Different Colors..

I know I've heard alot of different points of view on this question, but I really need some straight forward answers.

I have a 466mhz Graphite Clamshell iBook, with a busted LCD screen.

I have the opportunity to buy a prestine condition Tangerine Clamshell LCD half of an iBook, fully assembled.

Is it possible to connect my bottom half to the tangerine top half, or to remove the LCD itself from the tangerine plastics, and put it into my graphite's plastics?

You can't put the screen in as-is. It will damage your logic board. You can remove the display only and put it in place of your broken one ONLY if the cables are the same brand as the LCD. Make your life easy though and buy a display meant for your model.
