hi there--
the battery in my G3 iBook has not read over a 3% charge in months, no matter how long the iBook is plugged in. i picked up and installed a new battery, all is well with the iBook. it is possible that my nephews drained it and never recharged it after use. is it also possible that the adapter was simply faulty? should i just trash the old battery and chalk it up, or is there a way--independent of the iBook--to drain it and recharge it? thanks so much.
