Ibook screen repair

Hey

I just purchased a used screen for my Ibook snow 900, however I only need to change the front of the screen(black part), and therefore it shouldn't be necesary to open and take apart the entire ibook, like u have to do if u want to change the entire screen. My problem is that i haven't done it before, and was wondering if any of u could give my a link where the procedure is explained.

You do have to take apart the unit to replace the LCD. Our take apart manual covers the procedure. It is available from the link below:
