power outlet on my motherboard is lose

What should I do if the power outlet on my mainboard is busted, because it moves when I plug in my laptop to the power adapter. Now it doesn't power on everything because not even power is being transmitted. Should I get the power outlet connector and pay for someone to solder it onto my mobo or just buy a new motherboard or a whole new laptop. What should I do?

This happened to me. I managed to get it covered by insurance but I had to send it to Apple to be repaired. Cost about 400 euros I think. I tried soldering it first and it worked for a while. I think if you open the laptop and do a good job of soldering the loose part back to the board it will be fine. Be careful though :-)
