Hi, my daughter's 14" iBook G3 is no longer taking in DC from the adapter - the battery display in OS X does not show that it is plugged into AC power. I'm guessing that it's the DC in port (the adapter works fine on my son's iBook, and the battery can charge in my son's iBook)
If it is the DC in port, is there any guidance for installing a replacement? There is no take apart guide, so I don't know what it takes to replace it.

You can try to go by the 12" guide but there will be some slight differences.
