I have a white g3 12" dual USB machine running osx10.4.xx w/ 512MB RAM and airport card.
I upgraded the HD to a 160GB unit following the take apart guide using a single partition. Currently the disk is only recognized as being 128 GB.
Using DejaVu I "restored" from my B/U on an external USB HD using my desktop G4 as the vehicle and the ibook in FW target mode.
No BootUp, No Chime, Question mark
Ran Disk Warrior from G4

G4 recognises ibook HD in target mode, can drag and drop etc...
DW disk boots & runs fine on ibook
OS X Tiger install disk recognises ibook in target mode, sees newer version of OS and will install but wants to initialize disk first.
DW says "Critical values in the Volume information were incorrect and were repaired" for third time.
Disk Warrior says HD set to master and functioning normally.
Track pad works fine when booted from DW
Keyboard works fine when booted from DW
I can't boot directly from the Tiger DVD because of the CD/R drive
I'm stumped and staring at a monochrome apple (that jumps just a bit as it's final act.)
Does anyone have any suggestions on what might have a positive effect?
