 Post subject: Zip 100 freezes my os 9.2.2

I have a 233mhz. Recently my ZIP 100 module has been freezing my os. the mouse still moves but everything else is frozen. When I remove the ZIP from the media bay, the os unfreezes. I've tried booting with extensions off, and rebooting with just the iomega and control strip ext's but that didn't solve the problem. I also downloaded a new Iomega driver but the problem persists.
