Post subject: G3 Fan is Continuously "ON"
PostPosted: Sat Mar 29, 2003 7:27 pm
My Wallstreet is getting old. The other day, the fan suddenly came "on" and has stayed "on" since. It used to come "on" and "off" occasionally and it used to be quieter. But now, it is loud and continuous. Any suggestions?

just pop off the keyboard, and the processor should be right there, usually covered by a heat shield, just take that off, and take out the processor carefully and put it back in.
