This powerbook has a pink band on just one side of the screen. The left side to be exact. The rest of the screen is fine. Any idea what the problem might be.

It could be the display cable, but it likely a defective LCD. The only way to know which exactly is causing the problem is to replace the parts. These parts are available from our online store.
