Post subject:  iMac Turns on with black screen
Hi' I have a iMac G5 Desktop that you can hear that its on :D and also you can see the little white lite on in front of the face :) , when its turn on. :shock: but I get no screen on at all, :( no picture nothing happens at the screen :cry: its dead :evil: , I can hear that something speeds inside :P , probably the fans or not sure. :roll:

it sounds like it is most likely a video chipset that has gone bad. you'll probably want to take it somewhere or send it off to get professionally diagnosed.
