 Post subject: Removing Keyboard
PostPosted: Wed May 07, 2003 7:28 am
Hi,

Some keys don't work all the time. Stuffing the keyboard cable into the keybopard seems to solve it generally. But I think it may mean a keyboard on the way out?

How do you remove the cable from the keyboard? (I know you need to get it fully apart to do so, and I can do that. What do you need to do to the connectors to release the cable?

Thanks,

Mike

You don't need any special tools. On the lombard you just pull back the two pins at the top of the keyboard and flip it out. Then all you have to do is take out the keyboard. You can purchase a take apart manual from our site for more info.
