Post subject: | Soldering #1 connector on logic board |
I have an old iphone 3gs, with the #1 connector on the motherboard missing. Normally it would be straight forward to solder a new connector on to it, however if you look at the attached photo you'll notice that some of the connection points are missing. I'm more of a software guy than a electronics engineer, so this kind of repair is new to me. What is needed to be done to get the solder connection points back on the board? I realize this may be more of a general pcb repair question, but I've been searching and I guess I just don't know exactly what to search for to the correct answer. Any help from you hardware guys would be greatly appreciated ![]() |

It wouldn't be feasible at that point to get it repaired. I'd just replace it. |
