My son just came over with his Powerbook. Apparently he knocked his drink over and his MacBook won't boot. We took the back off, blow dried everything and nothing happens. When he plugged in the charger, no lights came on.
I'm thinking it is toast and probably needs a logic board. The Apple Store is 100 miles away. Should I just go ahead and send it in to you guys or wait for a verdict from the Apple Store. It is out of warranty.

It depends really. The Apple Store sometimes offer some good repair deals for very extreme repairs.
You are welcome to try them first and compare them to us, or if you are in a hurry, you can just send it to us.
