LCD screen replacement problem

Hi everyone, I bought a matte lcd to replace the glossy lcd of my macbook (late 2006). The new screen once installed makes bizarre things. The left-hand side is cut in 2 vertically parts with the "normal" image of the system and flashes (like blinking). The right part of the screen is black... Is there a solution or is it definitively a defective product? When I try with the old glossy lcd, that works very well..

It sounds like a defective screen or your original screen is a weird revision and may not have a matte counterpart that will be interchangeable.
