Screen white after LCD replacement .

I have two macbook with cracked LCD , i replace both with a new LCD . The two macbook boot with white screen .
But the LCD mounted in my macbook work great .
Two video cable gone ???? :shock:

it can be the cable or the logic board.

But how is it possible that damage to the LCD can damage the motherboard? With the external monitor both mac works perfectly.

This is also a problem about replacing an LCD that I find it weird. Well, I guess from this point, I have to let someone have my son's Macbook repaired by someone.

I can't afford to add stress to myself with these type of problems.

Contrary to what we know from sites of spare parts, not all LCDs are compatible with any LVDS cable.
I take apart a macbook mid 2009 which used a LG, i mounted a AUO screen and did not work (white screen).
With a new LG is ok.
My question is:
LVDS Cable for AUO / LG / Chi Mei is not a universal right?
But all the site buy this cable as universal ( samsung LCD excluded ) .
What is the truth?
