Have 2 damaged MacBooks and decided to swap dislay units to get one functional notebook. When extracting inverter cable from logic board, I notice they are different. Am I missing something? I was trying to avoid opening the display bezel and getting into the LCD, but is that what I should get to? Will the other end of the cable be compatible?? Thx!

There are two revisions with different connector types. They are not interchangeable.
