I have a Macbook Pro A1260 where the left I/O board has gone bad. Without realizing, I bought a left I/O board from a A1226. I installed the board, and it powers up fine, there is just not back light on the screen. Is there anyway to make this work, or do I need to get a A1260 board?

I don't believe they are interchangeable.
