Where are these Axxxx Model # found ? Do you do bigger HD

I have a circa 2006 Macbook Pro. I would like to, first, move non-essential files from original HD to my external 1.5 gig HD.

Then I would like to do a complete backup of the resulting internal HD to that same external drive.

If you folks replace internal HD, I would like to get a 500 G internal replacement if the price is cost-effective compared to buying a newer MacBook Pro.

I currently am running Mac X version 10.6.8 software, but have only 3 G of space left on the original internal hard drive.

The model #s are found on the bottom case in the paragraph of text starting with Designed By Apple.
