guys I have a problem with my macbook pro 2.16 ghz 17''.
I replaced the MagSafe board but the problem remained.
The machine does not charge when it On, but only if you shut down or stop mode ..
The 85w MagSafe is new
help!

I'd try another battery first. Typically that means there is an issue with the power management and not enough power is going to the battery while the machine is on. This would usually be a logic board issue, but I'd try a battery first.
