My Macbook Pro 15" A1211's fan has been running very loud. It's really annoying, it happens the moment you wake the computer.
I ran a diagnostic and I got error "4sns/1/40000000: TGOH" which is apparently a faulty sensor.
I'm interested in selling this computer but I'm in canada and there are no affordable options for repairing it. I'd like to fix it before I sell it. I think the part I need to replace is this: http://www.powerbookmedic.com/MacBook-Pro-15-Bottom-Case-Thermal-Sensor-p-20021.html.
Can anyone confirm this for me? Is this an easy fix? There are no support videos for it, I'd like to hear from anyone who has done it.
Thanks!

I'm not positive which sensor that error message is referring to. There are a few on your model. The sensors are the same, so you may just want to buy one and try replacing each sensor one at a time until you get it figured out.
