Hello,
I just purchased and installed a new LCD screen for my MacBook Pro (A1226) through Powerbookmedic, and everything seems to be working well, except that the laptop has abruptly turned itself off three times today. Could there be any driver issues that may be causing my symptoms? The machine has not done this prior to the installation.
I am running Bootcamp with Windows XP on the laptop, so might it be necessary to update any Windows drivers?
If you don't think it's a driver issue, any other suggestions?
Thank you, Derek

Does it do it on the OS X side as well? And is it going to sleep or actually shutting off the power completely?

Thanks for your response. It seems as though it's only doing it on the Windows side. However, I updated my version of bootcamp (3.1 to 3.2), applied the latest update to the Mac software, and did not have any issues all day yesterday. I think updating the bootcamp software solved whatever issue the system was having with the new hardware. Thank you, Derek
