hi, I have my MacBook Pro stoped working reacently. My MBP is bought in mid 2007, 2,4Ghz with serial number W87250CHX92. The symptoms is no "chime sound", constant sleep light, no video on screen or second display, keybord do not respond (caps or num lock do not light up when pressed). Hard drive an CD rom are operating, RAM (apple original) memory is tested and good. Tryied to reset PRAM and no luck. Also tryied to take battery out and press power button for 10 seconds. Which part could possibly be faulty? Any thoughts?
Reagards.

Generally that is going to be either the RAM or the main logic board. It could be one of the RAM slots is bad, so you may want to try one stick of RAM in just one slot at a time and see if you have any luck.

We repair boards, but given its international, you'll be responsible for shipping both ways.

No, component level repair on logic boards requires special equipment and a clean room that'll cost 10's of thousands of dollars.

The graphics are built onto the logic board. This sounds like a graphics problem, so you'll probably end up having to get the logic board repaired or replaced.

Worset cases can the graphics card be replaced with logicboard repairs or you have to replace the logicboard overall?

We do logic board repair for $399.95 (or $494.95 if you want to send in your machine and have us uninstall it, repair it, and reinstall it for you). We usually can fix graphics problems.
