Apple Meau Flashing Upon startup

When I turn on my MBP and everything is up. I click on my apple meau it will flash and disappear. I click it again its normal.

I dont know what cause this to happen. I am current at 10.6.4

it is probably just software related. I would first load up Disk Utility from the Utilities folder and repair disk permissions on your hard drive. This will most likely fix it. If not, create a new user and try logging in as that user and see if it does the same thing. If it does, you'll need to reinstall the OS, if not, it is going to be some user settings with your main user account.

I think its my clicking tab on my macbookpro. whAT I DID IS WHEN IT FINISHED BOOTing UP I TAPped ON THE ON clicker twice went to click on the apple log then it was fine

if it was a problem with the trackpad, you'd have accidental double clicks everywhere, not just on the apple menu. like try just clicking once on an application in Finder and see if it opens it or just selects it.

If it just selects it, your trackpad is working fine. If it does open the app, you probably would need to replace the top case or trackpad depending on what model you have.

Hey Justin

I move crsur to the FINDER tab I clicked on it once. It flashed. I clicked it again it shows Finder highlighted with meau

I feel it is the trackpad.

What else can I do. I dont want to specnd 250 or so on the topcase

that's about all you can do. you can send it to us or take it somewhere to be professionally diagnosed, but it sounds like you'll have to replace it.
