I just purchased a unibody (15") lid replacement from Powerbook Medic. I have taken the lcd display apart before on other unibody mbp's, however I have never tried to pull of the hinges to place them on a new lid. Has anyone ever done this? Is there a trick to getting them off? The black trim piece is the main issue. I want to get that off with out breaking it? I would imagine once the black trim piece is off, the hinges would just be held on by small screws... Anyone have any tips? Thanks!! |
