We have 2 macbook pro 15". Now one of them does not receive charge from its magsafe adapter. I have tried the adapter on the other machine and it is fine. This isolates the problem to the laptop as opposed to the adapter. I have tried both PRAM and SMC resets with no luck. Please advise urgently. I'm based in the caribbean so will have to ship to powermedic if required.

You may want to try the battery from the working machine and make sure the 'broken' one works fine off battery power. If it does, it is most likely the magsafe board. Otherwise it is probably a logic board problem which is quite expensive.
