I have a strange problem with a MacbookPro 3.1 LED display.
It's work fine at home , while whit a low temperature half display it's disturbed , not usable . It's return perfect at a normal temperature.
The video board work fine , test at apple store for the ividia issue , and with external video.
What can be ? The display o also the mother board ?

Thank's .

What kind of temperatures are we talking about? Here are the specs from Apple about operating temperatures:

Operating temperature: 50° to 95° F (10° to 35° C)
Storage temperature: -13° to 113° F (-24° to 45° C)

Anything outside of that operating temperature range may cause problems.

It's not a problem with temperature range .
At the morning in home ( 16 ° ) the problem still persist.
I take apart , disconnect and reconnected the LSVD cable and the power board cable , the problem is worse .
The bottom part of display it's not usable.
I'm thinking a mother board issue o cable issue , do u agree ?

I found this in internet :
I can verify that putting some material between the LCD and the display casing solves the issue. My display was already so bad, that it had the error every time I opened up the laptop. I had to twist the display for minutes to get it to work and on the slightest hitch it went out again. Now with some filling between LCD and casing the error stopped completely. It just seems to be a loose contact caused by the rather flexible construction of the screen. Disassembling the MBP and the display wasn't hard at all. I got the whole repair done in half an hour.

Yesterday i only pressed the display in the right border of the case and the issue seem to get better .
Today i wanted to take apart to put a filling between LCd and case , but the display it's perfect now
Tomorrow i'll see .
