Hi have a MacBook Pro and am having a hard time burning a DVD. In iDVD when it is finished multiplexing and begins to burn, the drive spits the DVD out and will not burn. I've tried using Memorex DVD-R and Maxell DVD-R and it will not burn to either. Actually when I insert the Maxell it will do nothing but re-eject. But the Memorex DVD-R atleast tries to burn, but doesn't. I've reworked the movie 3 times and my map shows everything in working order. I've even pulled all the non-apple applications out of the library folders.

Since I was having problems with that working, I shared the video to QuickTime and tried burning the disc in Roxio Toast Titanium 6 and an now getting and driver reported error.
Sense key = MEDIUM ERROR
Sense Code = 0x11
UNRECOVERED READ ERROR

Can anyone help? Do I need a new superdrive or is it something that I can fix?

If you could, can you go into System Profiler, go into the Disc Burning section and paste what it finds here.
