I'm trying to remove my screen to change the inverter board and one of the T6 screws holding the hinge in place is stripped (one of the ones closer to the logic board). The threads are stripped, not the head. It just spins....Any ideas?

Most likely the screw hole in the bottom pan has broken off. You can sometimes get it out by tilting the display at an angle and then trying to unscrew it.
Sometimes you can see the bottom from the left side and you can try to grab onto it with some needlenose pliers so you can stop it from spinning so you can unscrew it.
