2 Year old MacBookPro just like a light bulb quit working off the battery. The Battery is still at near full charge. The computer will work off ac but as soon as ac is unplugged the computer is off. I just purchased the battery from you about a 7 months ago. Is it bad again?
thanks Dan

Is it still detecting the battery but just stuck at 0% or is not detecting the battery at all?

That is a little strange that it actually detects a charge but won't run off the battery. Unfortunately the only way to really test it is to try another battery. If that doesn't fix it, it is most likely a logic board problem. If you have a local Apple store, you may want to take it there and they usually have spare batteries they can pop in real quick.

Its interesting that the battery charge % is remaining at 64% for the last 4 days. I can take the battery out while it is plugged into ac then it will show an X. Then put the battery back in and it shows 64% again.
Anyway, thanks for your help. I will run it into a local Mac store.
