 Post subject: Broken ribbon cable in MacBook Pro

Hi

A couple of days ago I was going to replace the harddrive in my MacBook Pro. I managed to make a rift in the hdd ribbon cable. When I started the computer again it did not find any harddrive, neither the new or the old one.

So I need to buy a new ribbon cable, and was wondering; is the A1211 cable the same as for the A1226? I got the A1226 model and therefore need a cable that can be used.
