Cracked macbook screen

Hey...My roomate overdosed on Jack Daniels and thought itd be a good idea to bite my 15 inch macbook pro screen. Believe it or not he actually has not yet been diagnosed with any mental abnormalities. Anyway, my screen has been in shambles for a couple months and its time for a change. How difficult is the replacement process? Do your screens come with detailed instructions for doing it yourself? Is it likely that i will have the brightness adjustment problems that others on the forum have noted? Can i be sure that the LCD is the only part that i need?

We sell the LCDs on our site as well as free take-apart guides. They are fairly easy repairs.
