I just finished installing a 250 gig WD drive and a gig of memory in my iBook- the hard drive cratered four days ago, and the Genius bar guy told me Apple would not upgrade it, only put in the oem hard drive for 280 bucks. I spent less than that and a couple of hours with the instructions I downloaded, and my mac is up and running like Steve Austin.
I gotta say, this is a great site, and I could not be happier with my results!
