case replacement

There is now a replacement case for the 12" but how hard is it to to do the work. There is no take aprt manual. I have upgraded a processor in a tower, but never opened up a PB

I have the same question. I need to replace the bottom case and the top piece...an inadvertent fall from my desk necessitates a repair. The computer is working fine, however. It's a cosmetic problem Please advise!!!

Have a look on the main PowerBookMedic site they sell take-apart manuals for most of the computers including the laptops. Around $10.00

We'll have a 12" manual available in about a week or so. It will be complete and include display disassembly as well.
