Hi,

I need help. My 1.67gz 17 Powerbook is playing up. I t was working fine, then suddenly this morning at the login screen, neither the trackpad or keyboard are responding. The ambient light still works and so do all of the USB ports etc. I can login with an external keyboard and mouse but this really isnt ideal. I have done a PRAM reset with an external keyboard and reset the PMU (battery out, hold down power for 5 secs) but no joy, it is not working.

I am getting a little desperate, it doesnt make any sense, I thought maybe the keyboard and trackpad became detached inside, but I dont see how that would be possible, I didn't knock it or anything.

Please help.
