Hi everybody. New here.

My first post comes with a question.

I had acquired a PowerBook G4 12 "with the problem of a CD stucked in the optical drive CD and OS will not start ... just loading.
I had to open it, to get to the SuperDrive, so I can release the CD. All well and good, I removed the CD, I assembled everything back in order, and when to start, surprise, the display stoped working. Whatever I do, he doesn't want no longer to light up. Starting signal is heard, but no image.

This happened to someone else? A solution, how small, would be welcome.

Can you still control like the volume after it has booted up? If it is actually booting up but just no display, I'd go back in and reseat the cables. If it's not booting, it probably just isn't a cable issue and might be the DC-DC board not seated properly or the DC-IN Cable partially unplugged on the bottom of the logic board.
