The screen started to flicker for about a month. Just at random, sometimes at start-up, sometimes during general use. I notices that the powersupply would get extremely hot, and if I put pressure on the power supply (Squeezing it, putting my foot on it) that it would stop. After I returned home one day, it would not turn on at all. I took the thing completely apart and looked for bad connections and solder joints, but there doesn't seem to be any. I can't recognize any electrical burning smells, and when I plug the power cable into the laptop there is a small pop noise. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would try another adapter first. After that, it is most likely the DC-IN Board.
