Ok so my powerbook has been through some tough times. had a spill about a year ago, lcd has a lighter stripe through it, and the keyboard was all gummed up. so i have had it hooked through an external monitor and keyboard and it works great.
Now i have recently purcahsed a replacement screen, and keyboard. I installed the kayboard and all the buttons work except maybe 5 or 6, including some symbols and p, RETURN. i thought the keyboard was bad so i tried another, same thing. plug looks clean and it works fine through a usb external keyboard, can i do anything? i miss my powerbook!

anyone? should i wait for the new macbook dec/jan 08? or buy a new one now?

Where did you purchase the keyboards from? If the same keys don't work on two different keyboards, the problem is likely the logic board.
