 Post subject: Power boog G4 Aluminum conks out when using battery

Glad I found this site , My powerbook G4 has an issue with conking out even though the charge is high, when running on the battery , I have checked my energy saver settings , so I know its not that , it will start right back up again once I use the adapter , many times this happens when I am using imovie

it is most likely a bad battery or the contacts in the battery bay are loose. usually you can go in and tighten the screws on the connector.
