After disassembling my ipod touch 2g the screen was unresponsive to my touch. I removed the digitizer ribbon and everything correctly and put it back together. Afterward the screen wouldn't work. I've tried to hard reset a bunch of times and it still wont work. I dont think i broke the digitizer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The display still works, the buttons ect. also work but it just isn't reconizing the touches. Also while taking my ipod apart part of the frame, not glass, broke off and i tried to super glue it back on. I don't know if that would do anything.

the digitizers are very picky. Even specks of dust can cause portions of the display to stop detecting touches. Best just to go back in, check all the connections, check for rips in cables, and clean off the glass. if that doesn't help, you'll probably want to have it checked out by professionals or try another digitizer.
