I recently replaced the digitizer on my touch 2nd gen 8 gig. However, it is not responding when I attempt to "Slide to Unlock". any ideas what may be causing this. Did I forget to hook something up? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes dust can cause this. It is extremely picky. If that doesn't fix it, and the cable seems fine, it may be a defective digitizer.
