I was replacing the HD in my Ipod and everything went well untill the clip that holds the battery ribbon cable on fell off..... I can not seem to get it back on (being very carefull not to bend the prongs) any sugestions ? Thanks for any help. Tim

it should just slide back on, if it won't, the only fix is a new logic board which we sell on our site for $79.95.

Hi Justin,
if someone is interested on buying the logic board and will install it himself, will it still have any warranty on the logic board? $79 is way much if it doesn't carry any warranty due to wrong installation. It would be more practical to buy a new one and won't have any problems.

Yes, it comes with a warranty as long as it isn't physically damaged during installation or due to negligence. (liquid spills, etc.)
