Post subject: iPod model A1040 Hold won't turn off  Posted: Sat Jan 10, 2009 4:02 pm |

My model A1040 30 GB is not functioning. The Hold won't release. When the Hold button is turned off, the icon on the screen flickers, and the buttons don't respond. Can this be fixed? Or can the iPod be replaced? What is my best course of action?

You would need a new headphone board which may be hard to come by. They should be around $30 for the part.
