I Pod issues with song quality - instruments fine, but voice is very faint. ripped from other CD's same issue.
Reinstalled software, changes settings via knowledge base. Any ideas?
Unit is new...

very strange. I assume they sound fine in iTunes first off.
I would then try some different headphones. If it is still a problem, I think it'll have to be a problem in the sound processor on the logic board.

very strange.. so they do all sound fine when played through iTunes and your speakers?
the only other thing i can think of is change your import settings in iTunes.. like change it to mp3 if its aac and vice versa.
